Nature provides many numbers bioactive natural products for the preparation of herbal drugs and their applications. Since the beginning, natural products or products from nature have worked as a healing system. Marine Pharmacognosy deals with the naturally occurring substances of a medicinal value obtained from marine species. This session discusses the recent development of drugs obtained from marine organisms, and drugs derived from natural products such as antitumor and antibacterial agents and the effectiveness of these drugs, side effects, efficacy, and the employment of the latest technologies in drug manufacturing from natural resources.
