Many people go for medical treatments that are complementary, and away from mainstream medicine. For instance, acupuncture sometimes is used to treat the side effects of cancer treatment. When both medicinal care are used simultaneously, then it is known as integrative medicine. This session further discusses the clinical effectiveness and its efficacy and the holistic approach of integrative and complementary medicine.
